Stephen Armstrong understands that serving clients’ financial and investment needs begins with building strong, lasting partnerships. He focuses on listening to each client because he believes everyone’s needs and financial goals for the future are unique.

Offering a wide range of investment services and alternatives, Stephen is committed to helping you

achieve your financial goals. Specializing in a planning based approach to your money, he works with clients to design investment portfolios to meet their individual needs. 

Additionally, Stephen is a SmartVerstor Pro, because like Dave his focus is on helping clients live their lives debt-free and financially independent.

Before starting GameDay Wealth Management, Stephen spent six years with  Whitaker-Myers Wealth Managers as a Financial Advisor.

 Prior to that, Stephen served as the Athletic Administrator, Facility Manager, Physical Education Teacher, and Boys Varsity Soccer Coach at Mansfield Christian School, leading the team to the school’s first state championship in 2014.

Stephen graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Exercise Studies. Additionally, he completed his Master’s degree in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2013.

Stephen lives in Mansfield, Ohio with his wife Emily, as well as their three children Alliana, Bennett and Cienna. Outside of work Stephen is a member of Crossroads Community Church. 

Stephen continues to serve as the boys’ varsity soccer coach at Ontario High School.

My wife, Emily, and I were married in 2010 and make our home in North Central Ohio with our three wonderful children — Alliana, Bennett, and Cienna. As a family, we love spending time together at sporting events, enjoying the outdoors, and playing games that keep us laughing and connected. Family is at the heart of everything we do, and the values we live by at home are the same ones that guide the way I serve my clients each day.

While there are many reasons why I coach high school sports, my passion is to turn boys into men.  Coaching high school boys’ soccer has given me a front-row seat to the impact of guidance, patience, and encouragement in helping young people grow into their potential. It’s about more than wins and losses — it’s about teaching discipline, teamwork, and confidence. That same “heart of a teacher” drives my work as a financial advisor. I believe in meeting clients where they are, helping them understand their finances, and equipping them to make confident, informed decisions. Whether on the field or in the office, my goal is the same: to coach, educate, and empower others to succeed.
